On Wikis, Sourcing is the act of provinding a source for content. Although necessary on some wikis, Batteries not included Wiki currently does not require sourcing on articles. However, sourcing helps the content, and makes it more believable.
How to Source[]
- To Source anything is simple. All you must do is use this code:
- <ref>Source</ref>
- The Source can be an external page, an image, or just text explaining where you got the information. You Cannot Use Another Wiki Page as a Source.
- Alternatively, you can use this to source:

- At the end of the page, you must create a heading labeled References and use the following code:

Source Needed[]
- If any sentence or section of content is believed to be false or incorrect, this will appear next to it. [source?] This can be placed using {{fact}}.
- If you see this, that means you can go ahead and source it.
- If you are unsure that what you wrote is correct, feel free to place the fact template next to it, and hopefully someone will claim it true.
